Scope
This privacy statement informs users on the type, scope and purposes of the collection and use of personal data by the provider responsible in the imprint of this website (hereinafter referred to as “offer”).
The legal bases of privacy are stipulated by the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG).
Access data / server log files
The provider (respectively its web space provider) collects data on any access to the offer (so-called server log files). The access data include:
name of the requested website, file, date and time of the request, transferred data volume, report on successful request, browser type including version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.
The provider only uses the log data for statistical evaluations for the purpose of its operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to subsequently check the log data if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on specific indications.
Handling of personal data
Personal data is information by means of which a person is identifiable, i.e. data which can be traced back to an individual. This includes name, email address or telephone number. But also data on preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were visited by someone are personal data.
Personal data are only collected, used and forwarded by the provider if this is legally permissible or if the users consent to the collection of their data.
Contact
When contacting the provider (for instance by contact form or email), the user’s data are stored for the purpose of processing the request as well as in case there are any follow-up questions.
Integration of third-party services and content
It might occur that third-party contents such as videos of YouTube, map material of Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphs from other websites are integrated in this online offer. This always requires that the providers of these contents (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) are aware of the users’ IP address. For without the IP address they would not be able to send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is thus required for the presentation of these contents. We do our best to only use such contents for which the respective provider only uses the IP address to deliver the contents. However, we have no influence in case the third-party provider stores the IP address e.g. for statistical purposes. As far as we are aware of this, we will inform the users.

On the one hand, they serve the usability of websites and thus the users (e.g. saving login data). On the other hand, they facilitate the collection of statistical data on the website use and their analysis for the purpose of providing an improved offer. Users may influence the use of cookies. Most browsers provide an option to limit or completely prevent the saving of cookies. However, it is emphasized that the use and in particular the ease of use will be limited without cookies.
